We leave in a causal reality. For something to happen (that is what we call an effect), it needs a root (a cause). Some events cause physical effects within the physical plane if they are in accordance with a physical law. A good example is gravity: if you drop (cause) a pen, it will fall (effect). The same happens in higher planes, such as the emotional and the mental, and because the physical plane “embeds” all the others, we can see the consequence of something originating in a mental plane, happen in the physical plane (--> thoughts trigger actions). But because the physical plane is the resulting plane of everything, nothing can happen if it has his roots on it, unless it is a simple domino effect. Things "new" must happen on a higher originating plane.

This higher plane I’m talking of is called the Causal World. This is where Higher Beings create causes that will blossom into effects in the world we see. Anything we see happening has its root in the Causal Plane. No exceptions.

Modern new age practicians that have been very influenced by tv series such as "Charmed" believe that by concentrating strong enough in a goal, their whish will become a reality. But as we have just seen, no actions like writing a poem, no matter how fervent your are, or thinking about something with all your strength, or burning a green candle because it is inspiring, will actually put the universe in motion. Action needs to be taken in that particular Causal plane where only things that are to become exist.

I am particularly concerned about these "New Age gurus" that state that in order to attract abundance you have to think and act like if you already had abundance. This is actually a huge mistake that show how little about the true reality of abundance these people know and is root for a consistent number of individuals just ending up spending what little else they had left. Of course we need to think, act, behave and be in such a way it won't prevent money from coming to us and into our lives, but we also need to learn and take into account the cyclical nature of income.
